Born in Korea, Alice Stephens was among the first wave of intercountry, transracial adoptees. Her debut novel, Famous Adopted People, was published in 2018 by Unnamed Press. She is a co-facilitator of the Adoptee Voices Writing Group, co-founder of the Adoptee Literary Festival, a book reviewer, contributing editor to Bloom, and columnist for the Washington Independent Review of Books.
